Both Municipalities, Demir Hisar from North Macedonia and Klos from Albania partnered with local NGOs, APG and FLAG to create joint travel products offering their logistics and networking. A "two countries - one trip" strategy was

developed so all stakeholders can unify their efforts in building a single destination!

Locals and SMEs are provided with incentives to engage in building the destination offering

a unique adventure travel and at the same time preserving the authentic way of life in the cross-border area.
